Internet, GSM technologies, digital journalism have had a lasting impact on how media operate in Turkey and worldwide today.  This impact of new media will have resonating effects on social, economic and political landscape in the near future.

To this end we have established the one and only New Media undergraduate program in Turkey in 2009. This program is geared towards the creation of the new intellectual labor force of the 21st century that will create new social networks, communication platforms and applications for mobile media, cyber and game worlds.  Our students have training in communication theory and media production practice as well as mobile technologies, social media, internet journalism, e-government applications, mobile marketing, web design, animation, digital copyright law, information management, infotainment and new media studies.
