Kadir Has University's Public Relations and Information Department at the Communications Faculty, offers an impeccable education for those who seek a career at Public Relations and Information and related areas. As one of millennium's uprising sectors, Public Relations will become widely demanded among the future generations. The department offers specializations in intercultural communication, persuasion & social influence, public relations, and rhetoric & political culture. It aims to provide students with communication skills and an understanding of significance of Public Relations and Integrated Marketing Communications for today's business world and society.

The Students are to develop an understanding of strategic communication with skills such as writing, oral presentation, strategy development, creativity and critical thinking. They learn to apply these skills to various forms of communication. In this four year program besides courses on administration, economy, political sciences, sociology, psychology, cultural anthropology, the department focuses on public relations applications, projects, strategical administration, political campaigns and sponsorship.

The program also offers courses on computer assisted design, internet, multimedia applications. To comprehend the theoretical courses and execute the applications, the students are to develop public relations and political campaigns on the fourth academic year. As we are to develop tight relations with the sector, our graduates may find positions in public relations and advertising agencies, non-profit organizations, media outlets, governmental agencies and the service industry. The wide range of career opportunities provides graduates with flexibility in locating employment throughout the country in a variety of interesting occupations.
