TÜBİTAK 1001 Support to KHAS for 3 New Projects

We are pleased to announce that in the 1st term of the 2022 TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 program, 3 of the seven research projects submitted from our university have been funded, and 1 of them is decided to apply without waiting for the next term.  

While the support rate for the projects presented in the first term of 2022 was 16.5% throughout Turkey, this rate was 42.8% in our university.  

We congratulate our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Suncem Koçer Çamurdan, Assoc. Prof. Nima Jafari Navimipour and Asst. Prof. Durul Ulutan for their achievement, and also we wish Asst. Prof. Nuray Söğünmez Erdoğan’s success on her next project submission.   

The funded projects are as follows:  

The project coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Nima Jafari Navimipour from the Computer Engineering Department, and entitled “The Development of Ultra-Efficient and Fault-Tolerant Nano-Scale Digital Circuits for Quantum Computing” has been funded by TÜBİTAK 1001 Program. Prof. Feza Kerestecioğlu also takes part as a researcher in the project.  

The project coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Suncem Koçer Çamurdan from Public Relations and Information Department and entitled “The Development of Ultra-Efficient and Fault-Tolerant Nano-Scale Digital Circuits for Quantum Computing” has been funded by TÜBİTAK 1001 Program.  

The project coordinated by Asst. Prof. Durul Ulutan from Mechatronics Engineering Department and entitled “The Development of Ultra-Efficient and Fault-Tolerant Nano-Scale Digital Circuits for Quantum Computing” has been funded by TÜBİTAK 1001 Program.
