TÜBİTAK 2515-COST Program Support to Asst. Prof. Balca Arda

We are pleased to announce that the project “Preparing Istanbul for Earthquake with Digital Gamification Design: Participatory Action Research for Transforming Disaster Preparedness into a Widespread Everyday Practice,” coordinated by Asst. Prof. Balca Arda, from the Department of Visual Communication Design, has been funded by the 2515-COST Support Program.

Balca Arda is an MC Member in the “Grassroots of Digital Europe: from Historic to Contemporary Cultures of Creative Computing”(GRADE)-CA21141” action. She prepared and presented this project as 1001 within the scope of 2515. 

This project aims to develop a mobile gamification application for earthquake preparedness, encompassing pre- and post-earthquake phases, to widely use in everyday life, especially in earthquake-prone regions like Istanbul.
